In this website, you will find a total of 15 ideas to use in your professional development workshop. All of these activities incorporate proven and effective learning methods for adult learning: active learning and culturally relevant pedagogy.
The goal of these activities are for EFL teachers to gain experience and introspection of how activities can be culturally relevant for their Japanese English learner.

Activity Rationale
Discussion
Each activity encourages a discussion at the end where participants get to debrief what they just experienced. It also opens up a space for participants to share their ideas and concerns as well as their own teaching experiences.
Activity Rationale
At the very end of the lesson plans/activity is a rationale for the activity. Ideally, this would be used to close the activity and give space for final thoughts. The rationales are supported by research and literature I have reviewed for my Capstone.
